Our Story
Language Services Consultants, Inc. was established in 1992 to serve the increasing need for language services requested by corporate, government, educational, health care, and non-profit businesses and organizations.
For over 30 years, LSC has worked to help facilitate communication for our clients, consumers, and colleagues. We are located outside Philadelphia, PA and work with a large and far-reaching network of professional linguists from around the globe.

Our Founder
Ruth S. Karpeles is the founder and president of LSC. She has been in the language services industry for most of her career.
Ruth has a B.A. in Italian, coupled with years of study abroad, including graduate and work focus on international business and intercultural communication. She has vast experience in working as a translator, proofreader, editor, project manager, ESL instructor, as well as an intercultural trainer.
